Our policies

Complaints Procedure:

It is important to us that as your child’s tutor that we work together to meet the needs of your child/children. We feel very passionate about being the best I can be for both you and your child but, occasionally we may disagree, or you may have an aspect of our service you wish to discuss. Education and supporting your child is important to us however, we can never promise that your child will pass an exam that we have been supporting them with and we can never promise that your child makes progress. We do however, always strive to help them to the best of our ability.

If there is something you wish to discuss, please don’t hesitate to discuss this with us directly as soon as something comes up so that we can resolve it/move forward. Please also, be mindful that as we are self-employed tutors, we are not employed by you, we are paid to provide a service. Although it is in our best interests to provide a tutoring service to your child to the best of our ability, we are also in control of our own planning, lessons and outcomes for each lesson which, may go against your personal wishes. However, working together as a team is important for your child and we aim to be open and honest. If there is something you need to discuss then please discuss this with your child’s tutor directly and then with Katie Hudson (owner of KTutoring) if you are unable to resolve. If the concerns are regarding fee’s or payment then please go directly to Katie Hudson.

Should you continue to still not be happy we will take/write any complaints and we will seek to discuss this with you in the best way possible with no children present. All written complaints will be investigated. I will then produce the outcome for the investigation in writing for all our records within 28 days of receiving the complaint. A record of the complaint will be kept within my files.

Many thanks

The KTutoring team and Katie Hudson
