Meet Our Team of Experienced Teachers

At KTutoring, we pride ourselves on having a dedicated and talented team of tutors who are passionate about helping students achieve their personal academic goals. Our tutors come from diverse backgrounds and offer personalized support across a range of subjects. Let’s introduce you to the fantastic team that makes it all possible:

1. Katie – Reception to Year 6 support in: Maths, Reading, Writing, Handwriting and Phonics

Hello,

My name is Katie. I am a fully qualified teacher (QTS) and I achieved a 2:1 degree in Primary Education from the University of Greenwich. I taught in schools from 2015 – 2023 and I have many years experience working with children. Previous to teaching I supported adults and children with special educational needs and disabilities (SEND) in the community. I now run KTutoring, alongside bringing up my own family and I love being able to make such a positive difference to children’s learning with such a wide range of goals. I have a passion for making learning fun but, I also ensure that each child reaches their full potential in each session.

I am qualified to teach any primary school aged child in any subject. I have a particular interest/experience in reading and phonics.

2. Anna – Reception to Year 6 support in all core subject areas.

Hi my name is Anna and I am a mum of two as well as an experienced primary school teacher with over 12 years teaching experience. I have taught from the early years right up to year 6. When I worked in mainstream schools, I was a year lead and an English lead. My tutoring services specialise in English and creative writing for all primary ages and particularly children who are home-schooled. I am passionate about making learning fun, meaningful and sprinkling in as much creativity as possible. In my spare time I love to write, paint and draw and I am a self-published children’s author.

3. Hannah – Reception to Year 6 support. All primary school subject area’s, including 11+.

I’m Hannah and I’m excited to be working with KTutoring!

I have been a Primary School teacher since 2009, and in more recent years, have enjoyed teaching children on a one-to-one basis through tuition sessions.

I particularly enjoy teaching Phonics and the progression of reading, but the best part of being a tutor is seeing those ‘lightbulb moments’ and children’s confidence growing as a result.

I look forward to hopefully meeting some of you in the future! 🙂
